As we worked with more and more companies, we discovered a need for a more stream-lined and modern option for integrating QuickBooks into their previously established systems or into systems using today’s latest technologies. After months of research, architecture and building, Quist was developed to fill such a need.
On the outside Quist is meant to be a translation of a QB Integration to a RESTful HTTP API that is as simple and easy to use as any HTTP API out there. At it’s core though, we found that having secure access to the data in a QB company file without needing to know the ins and outs of QB SDK development became immensely helpful to our customers and greatly sped up the development process of apps looking to integrate with this data.
